Élan international student literary magazine accepts original fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, screenwriting, and plays from students currently enrolled in grades nine through 12. The editors seek original, innovative, creative, and nuanced work from around the world. The magazine also welcomes student-produced visual art including photography, drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, and printmaking.

Our mission is to publish original work from teen writers around the globe. That being said, we are looking for stylistically and thematically unique pieces of art and writing with distinctive flair, enthusiasm, and unapologetic truth.
