Editorial Focus

Levitate aims to be inclusive, both in terms of the authors and the types of work they accept. They want to create a safe and comfortable place for writers of all backgrounds. They recognize that the writing industry has been predominantly white, and they aim to lift up the voices of writers of color, as well as other marginalized communities. They recognize that everyone deserves for their voice to be heard.

Read the guidelines carefully, and follow them. Respond to the theme in any way that makes sense to you, but identify the genre of your submission and follow the guidelines for that genre though you submit your work in this category.
