Lucky Lizard Journal has no inherent emphasis on any particular theme or style. What the editorial team does always appreciate, though, is vivid imagery and enrapturing flow, which doesn't necessitate rhyme or meter necessarily, just the ability for the poetry to swim smoothly through the head or silkily off the tongue. If lots of thought and work was put into the poem, and it is noticeable, then it will be happily considered.
