The 37th annual A Rally of Writers conference was held on April 13 at the West Campus of Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan. The conference featured workshops, panel discussions, and readings in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Participating writers included poets Laura Apol and Masaki Takahashi; fiction writers Erin Bartels, Steven Harper Piziks, Lev Raphael, Jay Whistler, and Claudia Whitsitt; and nonfiction writer Andrea King Collier. Poet Nandi Comer gave the keynote address. The cost of the conference was $112 ($77 for students) with registration by April 1 and $127 ($90 for students) by April 13.
