Please read an issue of Salt Hill before submitting—we’re pretty eclectic, but it’s good to get a feel for a magazine before submitting. Please take note of the following changes to our submission period (also found on our Submittable and website). We accept nonfiction and art submissions year-round. We read for the Arthur Flowers Flash Fiction Prize for emerging writers of color between September and October.
